 SOME ANSWERS TO COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS... - Per session fee is $140.00.
- Services are not "in-network" with any insurance companies.
- You can receive reimbursement for your sessions if your insurance policy provides you with "out-of-network" coverage.
- It is best to contact your insurance company and ask what your out-of-network coverage is for outpatient psychotherapy (procedure code 90806).
- If yes, ask what your deductible is; ask what percentage of the fee is reimbursable; and ask if there's a maximum number of sessions covered per year.
- Lastly, ask if sessions need prior authorization.
- Session length is approximately 50 minutes.
- Payments can be made by check or with cash.
- Sessions are usually weekly or every other week (occasionally more, occasionally less). Frequency depends on what is therapeutically effective, scheduling challenges or other logistical issues.
